Dreyer Confiserie Manufaktur in Hameln – traditionelle Kaffeeröstungen

Coffee Culture from Hameln – for over 20 years

For two decades, we have been passionately curating coffee in the historic Old Town of Hameln. As "happiness makers," we stand for honest craftsmanship, selected beans, and flavors that tell stories. Our in-house roasts are crafted with care, complemented by fine manufacturers such as Kaffee Brewda, Landrösterei Seestermühe, and El Puente.

Our Location
  • Espresso aus dem Kaffeevollautomaten mit goldener Crema

    Coffee for Automatic Machines

Our coffee beans for automatic coffee machines are roasted to a particularly balanced degree. They ensure a stable crema and a harmonious flavour profile. Ideal for espresso, café crema, and milk-based drinks such as cappuccino or latte macchiato. Particularly popular: our house brands Espressimo and the Hamelner Mischung made from 100% highland Arabica.

  • Barista macht Cappuccino mit Siebträger Maschine

    Coffee for espresso machines

For portafilter machines, stronger roasts with intense aromas and a fine acidity structure are suitable. Here, single-origin espressos like the Guatemala Rosito Roque Alzatate or the Ethiopia Guji Espresso from Kaffee Brewda unfold their full potential, with complex notes of chocolate, berries, or caramel.

  • Espresso-Zubereitung im Siebträger mit goldener Crema

For filter coffee, French Press, and pour-over, we recommend lighter to medium roasts. These clearly highlight fruity and floral aromas and provide a nuanced cup profile. Our Light Soul filter coffee and Rattenfänger mild coffee are ideal companions here.

Arabica- und Robusta-Kaffeebohnen im direkten Vergleich

Arabica or Robusta – what's the difference?

Arabica beans grow at higher altitudes and are known for their fine acidity, complex aromas, and elegant flavor profile. Robusta beans contain more caffeine, provide more body, a stronger crema, and a more intense bitter note. High-quality espresso blends often combine both varieties to achieve depth and character in the cup.

Roast Level Overview:
· Light Roast: fruity, vibrant
· Medium Roast: balanced, harmonious
· Dark Roast: strong, intense

Kaffeebohnen luftdicht in einer Aromadose lagern

This is how your coffee stays aromatic

Freshly roasted coffee develops its full aroma approximately 7–14 days after roasting. To preserve the aroma:

· Store airtight in an aroma-preserving tin
· Keep in a dry, dark place, not in the refrigerator
· Prefer whole beans; they stay fresh longer
· Grind immediately before brewing

This way, you can enjoy your coffee cup after cup exactly as it should be: aromatic, well-rounded, and full of character.
